Recording responsibly
- Only record yourself or people who have given any consent required by your local law.
- Do not use Ocho to secretly record private conversations.
- Do not use Ocho as an emergency recorder, evidence system, medical device, or legal compliance archive.
- Check that microphone permission is enabled only when you want recording features to work.
Sensitive information
Voice notes can contain personal information without you noticing. Avoid recording passwords, payment cards, government ID numbers, health details, private information about other people, or confidential work material unless you understand how Ocho processes data.
Ocho may send audio and text to cloud services for transcription and sorting. Review the Privacy Policy before recording sensitive content.
AI transcription and sorting
AI can mishear, mistranscribe, over-summarize, choose the wrong category, or miss context. Treat AI results as a draft. Review important notes before acting on them.
- Do not rely on Ocho for medical, legal, financial, safety, or emergency decisions.
- Keep original context in mind when editing AI-generated notes.
- Use category descriptions to teach Ocho where notes belong.
Account security
- Use a secure sign-in method and keep your email or Google account protected.
- Sign out on shared devices.
- Do not share account access or subscription access with people who are not authorized.
- If you think someone accessed your account, change your sign-in credentials and contact support.
Prohibited use
Do not use Ocho to create, store, process, or distribute content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, exploitative, hateful, sexually exploitative, privacy-invasive, infringing, or intended to harm people or systems.
Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, subscriptions, authentication, abuse prevention, security controls, or app store rules.
Report safety issues
If you find a security issue, unsafe behavior, account problem, or policy concern, contact the developer using the support email listed on Ocho's Google Play listing or through the support channel shown inside the app.
