How to request deletion
To request account deletion, send an email to omereshed.video@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my Ocho account" and include the account email connected to your Ocho account.
Export or copy anything you want to keep. Account deletion is intended to remove your account data and cannot always be reversed.
Data deleted from Ocho
- Your Firebase account identity for Ocho, where technically available.
- Saved notes, transcripts, titles, categories, and category descriptions stored in Ocho.
- Synced app state associated with your user ID.
- Ocho-specific usage and rate-limit records where they are no longer needed for security, abuse prevention, or legal reasons.
Data that may remain
Some records may remain for a limited time in backups, logs, security records, crash reports, purchase records, or provider systems. We keep only what is needed for legal, security, billing, fraud-prevention, platform, or operational reasons.
Purchase history may remain with Google Play, Apple, RevenueCat, or other payment providers according to their policies.
Subscriptions are separate
Deleting your Ocho account or uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel a subscription. Cancel paid subscriptions in the store where you purchased them, such as Google Play subscriptions.
- Open Google Play.
- Go to Payments and subscriptions.
- Open Subscriptions.
- Select Ocho and cancel if needed.
Deletion timeline
We aim to complete valid account deletion requests within a reasonable period after verifying the account. Some backup and log data may take longer to expire through normal retention cycles.
